For more than 60 years, Highland Memorial Cemetery has provided Logan County families with a lasting place to honor their loved ones. Located next to Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory, the cemetery offers traditional and cremation entombment options.

The cemetery is open dawn to dusk. All committal services are held at the gazebo.
Honoring Those Who Serve
For many years, Highland Memorial Cemetery has offered a free grave to all veterans, for either traditional burial or cremation. In 2020, we proudly extended this offer to the first responders who serve our communities.
- Who qualifies: Veterans and first responders.
- What’s included: One grave space, for traditional burial or cremation.
- What we ask: Proof of honorable service.

Important Dates
Keep these seasonal dates in mind when planning a visit, placing decorations, or joining us for our annual remembrance ceremony.

| November 1 | Fall cleanup. Invert bronze vases for winter to prevent freezing damage. |
| November 1–March 1 | Grave blankets and wreaths are permitted. |
| December | Annual Legacy of Lights ceremony. Call for details. |
| March 1 | Spring cleanup. Remove grave blankets and wreaths. Bronze vases may be placed upright. |
| May 20 | Memorial Day decorations may be placed. |
| June 11 | Memorial Day decorations outside bronze vases will be removed. |
Caring for our cemetery
Thank you for helping us keep the grounds welcoming for every family.
- Flowers: Use memorial vases outside designated seasonal periods. Other arrangements may be removed during grounds maintenance. Wind-displaced decorations will be discarded.
- Prohibited items: Glass, wood, or plastic ornaments, boxes, blocks, or designs; shepherd’s hooks; rocks or gravel; inflatables; solar lights; wind chimes; and concrete memorials or benches.
- Grounds: No digging or planting. Obtain permission before removing foliage, and take trash with you.
- Memorials: All markers and monuments require cemetery approval before purchase.
- Winter care: The cemetery is not responsible for bronze vase damage caused by freezing.
Decorations that do not follow these guidelines may be removed without notice.
