Raleigh O. Oliver, of Bellefontaine passed away into the loving arms of Jesus Saturday, December 6, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Raleigh was born April 26, 1935 in Logan County to the late Orville A. and Helen (Bozman) Oliver. On November 6, 1955 in West Mansfield, OH he married the love of his life Phyllis E. Heizer, who preceded him in death.
Raleigh, along with his wife Phyllis, was a Member of Kenton First Baptist Church. Throughout his years he served the Lord as a teacher, a deacon and Sunday school leader. He was superintendent for Harding Machine for 26 years. In 1980, along with Phyllis and family, he started Industrial Pulley and Machine Company of West Mansfield. Raleigh was an avid lover of John Deere antique tractors and restored many over the years. He was a member of the Logan County Antique Power Association. Raleigh was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to get to know him.
He is survived by his children, Cherille (Jim) Van Winkle, Cindy (John) Bettinger, Stephen (Kathy) Oliver, Robert (Bernhard Weinstabel) Oliver and Tim (Shekina) Oliver; 11 grandchildren, many loving great and great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Millie (Dick) Miller, Carl (Margie) Oliver, Mary (Dick) Bruce, Betty, (Gaile) Alloway, Esther (Kenny) Smith and Janice (Gene) Terrell.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery following the service.
