PHYLLIS J. HELMANDOLLAR, 78, of West Liberty, passed away in Green Hills Center, Sunday, June 17, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 28, 1939 in Zanesfield, Ohio, the daughter of Calvin and Zella (Thorton) Penley.

Mrs. Helmandollar worked at Grimes Manufacturing in Urbana for several years and Ashley Furniture of Bellefontaine for 17 years.

Her survivors include her husband, Robert N. Helmandollar of 56 years; daughter, Pamela "Pam" Core; son, Charles "Chuck" Helmandollar; four sisters, Bessie Jenkins, Pauline (Bud) Tinelli, Janie (Curt) Briggs, Linda (Jim) Pompilio; three brothers, Dale"Bud" Penley, Jerry Penley, James Penley; and multiple nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister Joyce "Jo" Work.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 in the funeral home, with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
