Willie I. Burkhammer 81, of Russells Point, Ohio passed away Saturday December 15, 2018 at Mary Rutan Hospital. He was born June 21, 1937 in Weston, West Virginia. The son of James and Martha (Messenger) Burkhammer.   Mr. Burkhammer was retired from the United States Army with over 20 years of service. He also retired from General Dynamics in Lima, Ohio  and HTM in Russells Point. Survivors include his wife Phyllis (Cox) Burkhammer; one daughter Cynthia (Ron) Greene;  sons Michael (Martha) Burkhammer,  Martin (Jayma) Burhammer, Mark (Sherry) Burkhammer; step sons Greg Grube, Norm (Reina) Grube, William Grube; sister Nancy Wampler; brothers Joseph A. (Pam Jauret) Burkhammer, Thomas F. (Thelma Jean) Burkhammer,  Raymond V. (Gloria Jean) Burkhammer, Jerry W. Burkhammer; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday December 20 ^th at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory 5591 US Route 68 S. West Liberty, Ohio. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
