William Frederick "Fred" Moon 83, of Bellefonatine passed away Friday Oct 6, 2017 in his residence. He was born September 13, 1934 in Bellefontaine, the son of Arthur E. and Helen M. (Rhodes) Moon. Fred worked for Rockwell and Boeing, as well as the Logan County Courthouse. He was a Korean War Army Veteran, and a life member of the AmVets. He also was a member of the Logan County Sheriffs Auxillary. Survivors include his wife Donna Jean of 63 years; daughters Debrah Whitsett, Brenda Moon, Christina Edwards (Ray Eaton); sons William A. Moon, Aaron Todd Moon (Jennifer Simpson); sisters Vicki Dodds and Phyllis Moon; 14 grandchildren 21 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Jennings Farley Funeral Home & Crematory 5591 US Rt 68 S. West Liberty. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Monday.
