Scott Alan Wears, 59, of Bellefontaine passed away Thursday October 19, 2023, at home after a brief illness. He was born on February 18, 1964, in Newark, OH, the son Harold and Sandra Wears. Scott was a 1982 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and a 1985 graduate of Clark Technical College. He proudly served in the Military Police Corp for 3 years. Scott had 35 years of perfect attendance at Belletech Corporation. He enjoyed weightlifting, bicycling and time spent with family. Scott was admired by many for his taste in and care of his trucks.

Scott was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother and sister, Misty (Eric) Lamprecht as well as 2 nephews, Noah and Colin Ohr. He also leaves to treasure his memory 2 adopted nephews, Jacob and Reiss Hall.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 24 from 4-7PM at Jennings, Farley & Seeley Funeral Home. Funeral service and burial will be Wednesday, October 25 at 11:30AM at Newark Memorial Gardens.
