Samantha D. McKee Leas, 29 of Degraff, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at Mary Rutan Hospital.
Samantha was born February 24, 1988 in Bellefontaine to Deborah McKee. On May 15, 2015 she married Robert Leas on the family farm in West Liberty.
Samantha was known for her wicked sense of humor, her love for animals, especially kitties, long motorcycle rides with her husband, her adventurous palate and her love of color-nothing was allowed to be plain- she was our beautiful peacock.
She is survived by her husband; mother; grandfather, Ronald Hardman Sr.; grandmothers, Carol Hardman and Karen Douglas; brother, Jacob MeKee; half-brother, Ian Douglas; aunts, Diane (Fred) Fiedler, Teresa Hardman, Stacey Hecker; uncle, Ron Hardman Jr.; many cousins; niece and nephews, Daniel, Emily, Tyler and Jace.
Services will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Jennings Farley Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be held Friday, November 10, 2017 at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will also be visitation Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service. A burial will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery following the service.
