Roy J. Smith 64, of Kenton formerly of Middleburg  passed away Saturday December 28, 2019 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.  He was born October 28, 1955 in Pensacola, Florida the son of Roy and Mazie (Myers) Smith.  Roy was retired from US Navy with 21 years of service he served in Vietnam and the Gulf War. He was employed by AGC Automotive. Survivors include his wife Diane; daughters Tammy (Eric Snyder) Dennis, Melisa (Terry) Lowe; sons Robert ( Beth) Dennis, Daniel (Melissa) Dennis; brother Gary (Sandy) Smith; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Anita Spencer. Family would like to extend a special thanks to Lisa (Ernie) Snape. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday January 4, 2020 at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home 5591 US Rt 68 S. West Liberty, Ohio 43357.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service.  Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
