Rosemary B. Dietrichson 95, of Bellefontaine, passed away on April 13, 2026, at Campbell Place Assisted Living Community. She was born Rosemary Barbara Lawrence on September 13, 1930, to William and Matilda Lawrence in Painesville, Ohio. She was a graduate of Harvey High School class of 1949. In 1961, she married Murray N. “Bud” Goodrich Jr. and moved to Chardon, Ohio. There she enjoyed volunteering at the local hospital and their son, David’s grade school. They were a golfing family playing at the Pleasant Hills Golf Course and Chardon Lakes Golf Course. In 1981, they moved to Southern Pines, North Carolina. They joined the Southern Pines Country Club and Rosemary joined the ‘Par Seekers’, the ladies golf group. Her claim to fame was “6” Hole-In-Ones. One at C.C.N.C, one at Seven Lakes, one at Midland Golf Course, and 3 at Southern Pines Country Club. In 2001, Bud, her husband of 40 years, passed away. She married Dr. William Dietrichson in 2009 and enjoyed 10 years before Bill passed away. Also preceded Rosemary was her parents, 7 brothers and 3 sisters, and her beloved daughter-in-law, Judith Goodrich who passed away unexpectedly last summer. Surviving Rosemary is her only son David Wayne Goodrich of Ohio. Her grandson Bryce (Sarah) Goodrich, granddaughter Hayley (Matthew) McKirahan, two great grand- daughters, Apphia and Aletta Goodrich and great grandson Everett McKirahan. She has many nieces and nephews she dearly loved. Surviving also is Bill’s family, who have been so kind and caring to her even after their father passed; daughter Paula (Sam) Kuhn and children. Daughter Karen (Denny) Howard and children, and son David (Debbie) Dietrichson and their children. Her son and grandchildren will always remember her love and selflessness, she always put others before herself. She loved to spoil them with delicious meals and treats (she was an amazing cook!), kisses and countless phone calls of shared wisdom, golf lessons, cherished memories of family trips visiting her in Southern Pines, many shared moments of laughter they will remember for a lifetime. She had great sense of humor and got the biggest kick out of her great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her steady faith as she always went to her church services on Saturdays. A funeral mass will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday April 21, 2026, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Painesville, Ohio. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland, Ohio. In lieu of flowers please contribute to a charity of your choice.
