Rebecca Jane Orahood, 76 of Bellefontaine passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at her residence.

Becky was born December 28, 1948 in Bellefontaine to the late Edwin Earl and Alberta Lucille (Creviston) Orahood Sr.

Becky worked for many years at the Spot in Sidney. Making pies there was her specialty. Becky enjoyed collecting ceramic pigs and stuffed pigs. She loved pigs so much she had to have one placed on her tomb stone. Bingo with her brother Mike Orahood, brother-in-law Mike Predmore and many friends was one of her favorite things in life. Becky held a special place in her heart for her nephew John and Brenda Hancock Jr. The time they spent over the last few years was special for them both. She was an amazing cook. The family will remember and continue to make her recipe of goulash. Becky was a loving person and had an infectious smile. She would always be seen joking with everyone she was around. Becky was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to get to know her.

She is survived by her siblings; Veronica Zimmerman, Michael (Betty) Orahood, Tina (Chuck) Close, Tonya Pohlman, Rick (Amy) Orahood, Nancy (Mike) Predmore and Mel Bernero; many loving nieces, nephews and friends; brother-in-law, John Hancock Sr. and Rick Close Sr.; several other loving family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved daughter, Troy Lin Hillary; siblings, Barbara (Steve) Ballou, Carolyn Hancock, Edwin Earl (Christina) Orahood Jr., Monica (Sherman) Wright and Kimberly Close; brothers-in-law, Anthony Pohlman, John Zimmerman and Alex Bernero.

A Funeral Service will take place Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory, 5591 US Hwy 68 S., West Liberty, OH 43357. Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
