Obituary

Randy Lee Chambers Sr. 63 of Bellefontaine passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Randy was born January 3, 1957 in Bellefontaine to the late Carl Lee and Janet Lou (Fent) Chambers. On February 25, 1977 in Bellefontaine he married the love of his life Rita Alice Carter.

Randy worked for 27 years at Harding Machine and later worked at Delo Screw for 15 years. When all of the hard work was done, he was a family man at heart. His family looked to him and saw a strong, brave, courageous, hardworking, God loving man. He loved to spend time with his family, especially going out to eat with his kids and grandkids for Sunday dinners. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and loved, loved, loved his BINGO!! Randy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving of wife of 43 years, Rita A. Chambers; children, Olivia Chambers, Brandy (Christopher) Addo and Randy (Kelly) Chambers Jr.; grandkids, Mackayla (Christian ) West, Tyree Whaley, Priscilla Addo, Kelsey Chambers, Connor Chambers and Xavier Mumin; siblings, Rick (Shelley) Chambers, Kim (John Herren) Sopher, Rob (Krista) Chambers; Many nieces and nephews; brother and sister in laws, Rick Carter, Pam Noble, Penny Carter and Kendall (Paula) Carter; best friend, Dave (Sandy) Gilbert.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Hellen Fent, Carl and Kathryn Chambers; grandson, Issac Chambers; unborn twins of Brandy and Christopher Addo; sisters, Kandace Chambers and Kristin Chambers; niece, Karyn Sopher; great niece, Jayanna Zook; nephew, Brandon Carter; aunts and uncles, Jim and Sharon Fent, Norma Fent, Pat and Dale Scareberry, Larry and Linda Chambers.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at a later date in Huntsville Cemetery.
