Ralph E. Krouskop passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 at Green Hills Community at the age of 91.
Ralph was born January 17, 1927 in West Liberty, Oh to the late Emmet C. and Nellie I. (Williams) Krouskop.
Ralph graduated from Monroe Rural High School in 1945. He served in the Army Air Corps, Lowry Field, Denver Colorado from June 1945 to November 1946. After his time in the Army Air Corps, he resided at Indian Lake for 70 years. Ralph worked at the Huntsville State Bank for seven years, the Lakeview Lumber Co. for 18 years, Ohio Lumber Co. in Huntsville for one year, Siemens Energy + Automation in Bellefontaine for six years. He retired from Siemens in 1992 and started a business from his home called Home Designs where he drew architectural plans for home owners around Indian Lake. Ralph retired again at the age of 86. He felt pride in his drawings and his beautiful penmanship. He was a perfectionist in all that he said and did. He was a member of the Lakeview Village Council for 20 years and a past president of the Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce. He loved to travel and be with his family. He was always there when we needed him. His sense of humor, determination and generosity will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his brother, C. Richard Krouskop of Grady, NM; daughter, Cheryl A. (Gary) Ault of Springfield, OH; grandson, Troy D. (Stacy) Speckman of Denver, NC; great grandchildren, Jessica and Devon Speckman of Denver, NC, Shannon Smith of Zanesville, OH, Brandy Thomas of Columbus, OH; nieces, April I. (Ray) Pulfer of Bellefontaine, OH, Sheri S. (Tim Tevis) Costin of West Mansfield, OH; nephew, Charles M. "Chip" LeVan of West Liberty, OH.
He is preceeded in death by his brother, Jack F. Krouskop; sister, ViAnn Levan Cook; son, Gary L. Krouskop.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory, Located at 5591 US HWY 68 South, West Liberty, OH 43357. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. up to the time of the service. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date with the family.
