Paul E. Chism, 58, of Bellefontaine passed away unexpectedly on March 15, 2024.

Paul was born Oct 6, 1965, to Marvin E and Sharon S. (Moyer) Chism.

Paul was a 1984 graduate of Indian Lake High School and the Ohio Hi Point JVS.

He married Gale Crowley on Nov 3rd, 2013, and she survives.  Also surviving are his stepson, Brian Crowley, sister and brother-in-law Meredith (Dave) Groves of Sidney, nephew Joey, of Killeen Texas, Teighlor of Sidney, Melissa and Andrew, both of Athens.  He also leaves behind 10 great nieces and nephews, Marilyn, Damian, Amira, Dominic, Aria, Alayna, Mackenzi, Jayce, Paizlyn, and Violet, cousins Jan, Paula, Krista and Doug and a long time school friend Rob Casey as well as friend Charley Banghart.

He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Grandparents as well as Aunts and Uncles.

Paul was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State football fan.  He also enjoyed golfing with his father and brother-in-law, photography, and singing in the barbershop quartet and also in church. He enjoyed meeting new people and singing karaoke, but he especially loved family cookouts and spending time with his family.

He was a past member of the Bellefontaine Eagles, where he held many offices including that of Aerie President. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Per his wishes, there will be no services, and burial will be at a later date.
