Patrick Joseph Stanton 58 of Bellefontaine, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Patrick was born August 16, 1960 in Binghamton, New York to Ray "Skip" W. and Roberta "Midge" Louise (Ferguson) Stanton. On June 26, 1999 he married Terrea Gayle Hughes in the backyard of their home in Bellefontaine.

Pat was a native of Greene, New York where he graduated from Greene Central High School in 1979. He worked at Raymond Corporation in Greene, New York for 20 years. Pat later moved to Bellefontaine, Ohio in 1999 and worked at the Honda Transmission Plant in Russells Point, Ohio for 13 years. Pat is also a Veteran of the United States Army. He really enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Pat loved Rock N' Roll music, especially Guns N Roses.  He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Pat was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife; mother; Children, Andrew (Michelle) Hughes, Patrick C. Stanton, Amber M. Stanton, Eric J. Stanton and Nicholas A. Stanton; grandchildren, Jaelyn Hughes, Jase Stanton, Ethan Stanton, Haileanna Stanton, Siennna Gallagher, Ashley Harris and Raeonna Harris; siblings, Daniel H. (Joan) Stanton, Michael A. (Rebecca) Stanton and Julie Stanton (Michael) Rinella; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ray W. Stanton; daughter-in-law, Michelle LeeAnn Hughes.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life Service.
