Mary Lee Stumbo, 72 of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025 at her
residence. Mary was born on February 16, 1953 to the late Robert Duff and Gloria (Wooley)
Duff Schultz who survives. Mary was preceded in death by a brother Michael Duff, a sister
Elizabeth Castle-Holyman, nephew Chad Duff, father in law Roger Stumbo, and niece Jessica
Stumbo.
On May 1, 1993, she married Darryl Stumbo who survives along with her daughters, Angel
(Jeremy) Payne, Tiffany (Vonda) Simpson and Angie Adams. Grandchildren, Brooke (Aric)
LaRue, Madison (Macy Bateson) Payne and Nahla Payne, great granddaughters Laney & Callie

LaRue. She is also survived by a sister, Susan (Dave) Johns, brother Jim (Pam) Duff, sister-
in- law Lynn Duff, mother-in-law Christine Stumbo, brother-in-law Elden (Sande) Stumbo and

sister-in-law Rita (Tim) O'Bryant along with numerous nieces and nephews
Mary graduated from Belle Center High School and was proud to be an Eagle! Mary was gifted
with compassion to be a nurse for several years and also worked for many years for Honda of
America. Mary loved flowers,sunshine, sitting outside, working in her flowers, drag racing and
the Cincinnati Bengals but most of all watching her grandkids in their many activities.
A celebration of life will take place on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 5 pm with visitation from 4pm
until the time of service at Quest Community Church 110 South Street, West Liberty, Ohio
43357 officiated by Jessica Dolan.

donor's choice.
