Mary Ellen Stewart, 54, of Bellefontaine, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 17, 2024
in the home of special friends John and Theresa.
She was born February 6, 1970, in Bellefontaine. At the age of six months, she was adopted by
Junior and Patricia Stewart and welcomed into her forever family.
She attended and graduated from Bellefontaine City Schools. Her favorite pastime was spending
time with her family camping at the Stewart family farm. She loved the outdoors and always
had a Mountain Dew in her hand.
Mary Ellen lived an arduous life but found her solace in her furry friends. She was an avid lover
of animals and had many pets throughout the years. She leaves behind her special little
Pekingese, Sweetie.
She was preceded in death by her parents Junior and Patricia Stewart; her daughter Autumn
Reprogle; brother Ronald Stewart; sister-in-law Patricia Stewart and brother-in-law Lewis
Durant.
She is survived by a daughter Krista Reprogle, four siblings: Scott (Nancy) Stewart, Kimberly
(Frederick) Meek, Mark (Nancy) Stewart, and Cheryl Durant.
Mary Ellen had five granddaughters that she loved immensely: Hailie, Abbi, Alex, Jenny and
Jasmine, along with several nieces and nephews that completed her family. Arrangements are in the care of Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home and Crematory.
