Mary Alice (Yates) Henman 70 of Bellefontaine passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 of health issues, but mainly of a broken heart after her husband of 53 years passed away last year.

Mary was born April 18, 1948 in Lancaster, OH to the late Carl and Lucille (Litrel) Yates. On May 22, 1965 in Sidney, OH she married Rodney J. Henman who has passed before her on January 20, 2018.

Mary loved cooking, spending time with her family during family cookouts and fishing with her children. She was known for her generosity and opening her home to those in need; helping them by providing a place to stay. In her later years she enjoyed staying in touch with people on facebook and computer games with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Mike (Kelly) Henman and Brian (Beth) Henman; grandchildren, David (Tiffany) Butler, Amanda Butler, Kaylee Henman, Carli Henman, Jake Henman, Luke Henman, Mallory Henman and Kate Henman; six great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceeded in death by her husband, Rodney J. Henman; her parents; sister, Annie Yates; brothers, Carl David Yates and Richard Yates.

A private family service will be held at a later date a Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory.
