Lucy M. Earick, 96, of Bellefontaine passed Wednesday June 16, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born February 22, 1925 in Champaign County to the late Harry V. Williams and Susie (Clem) Williams Kauffman.  On June 29, 1942 she married Earl M. Earick and he preceded her in death on April 4, 2002. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers 6 sisters and her son-in-law Fred Slabach

Lucy worked at Siemens (formerly Bulldog Electric) for 30 years. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, her flowers, cooking, reading and most of all, spending time with her family.  She is survived by her children Max (Susu)  Earick, Chuck (Choyce) Earick, Susan (Bill) Tinsley and Steve (Andrea) Earick; grandchildren Scott (Gaye) Earick, Steve (Jane) Earick, Max (Martha) Earick, Lesli (Bill) Harris, Leah (Brian) Lirette, Kelly Smith, Brian (Allison) Earick, Hayley (Shannon) Mcpherson and Jeff (Tanya) Munn; sister Mary Halker and several nieces and nephews. Lucy was the proud matriarch of 5 generations which included 23 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Pastor Bill Walker will officiate a funeral service at 12 PM Wednesday June 23, at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home 5591 US Rt 68 S. West Liberty, Ohio.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service.  Burial will follow in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
