Lisette Ann (Harsh) Watkins, 67 of Urbana, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the Springfield Regional Medical Center.
Lisette was born October 2, 1956 in Urbana to the late Glenn Harsh and Marylin (Scholz) Green. On October 19, 1974 in Mechanicsburg, OH she married her loving husband of 49+ Years Mark J. Watkins, who survives.
Lisette was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine. She graduated in 1974 from Mechanicsburg High School. She worked at CTS Inc. in West Liberty, The Vintage Inn in West Liberty, and Sterling House in Urbana and continued with caring for others children for many years. Caring for children brought her great joy in life. She loved spending time with her husband and family. Lisette loved on her grandchildren every moment she got and loved going to and watching all of their activities and events. Lisette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to get to know her.
She is survived by her daughters, Stacy Lynn (Tyson) Cordrey of Urbana and Sarah Jane (Johnny) Ferguson of West Mansfield; her precious grandchildren, Jerome Cordrey, Natasha Cordrey, Aurelius Ferguson and one on the way, they all will miss their Grammy/MawMaw; brothers, Rick (Patricia) Harsh, Don (Michele) Harsh and Ted (Deana Backus) Harsh; step brothers, Kevin (Susan) Phillips, James Phillips and Jay Phillips; step sister, Debra (Wetzel) Nelson; many loved nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, Jim and Dora Watkins; sister-in-law, Cindy Harsh; step father, Charles Green; step mother, Juanita Harsh.
Pastor Jeff Willetts will officiate a Funeral Service Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held the day prior Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and again on Sunday one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
