Kristie Lynn Rudat (58) went home to her Lord on Sunday March 10, 2024 after a brief illness. She was born on June 21, 1965 in Johnstown, PA to Patricia (Kaufman) and the late Albert Rummell. She was a 1984 graduate of Johnstown Christian High School.

She married the love of her life Paul Rudat on June 22, 1985. He survives along with her mother Patty and step-father James Gay, three daughters Erin (Cory) of Degraff, Morgan of Bellefontaine, and Jordanne (Eric) of Baltic, SD. Her beloved grandson, Joss Rudat. Sisters-in-law Jean (Greg) Way of Austin, TX, Kathy (Bill) Blair of Worthington, OH, Becky (Dickie) Eppley of Boswell, PA. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a large collection of dear cousins she considered close to siblings.

In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her two deeply loved and missed brothers; Albert John and Donald William, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Pat and Don Rudat, and her maternal grandparents John and Deanie Kaufman.

Kristie's greatest pride and joy in life were her kids and grandson. She was a dedicated mother and loved her family fiercely. She was still so smitten with Paul throughout their 38 years of marriage. She was a very vocal, avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching them on Sundays. She loved all things true crime, cooking shows, and action movies. Kristie was a warm, generous person with plenty of kindness and love to go around. She never knew a stranger and because of this she will be missed by many.

Services will be held at Hopewell Church 3746 US 68, Bellefontaine, OH 43311. Saturday March 16, 2024. A gathering of friends and family at 11:00 am, a celebration of life service at noon. All who loved Kristie are welcome. Plans for a service in Pennsylvania will be announced at a later date.
