Obituary

Karan P. Wampler 72 of Bellefontaine passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Marry Rutan Hospital.

Karan was born June 3, 1945 in Bellefontaine to the late Vernon Dale and Ella Marabeth (Vermilya) Baker. On Becember 24, 1964 she married Robert S. Wampler in Bellefontaine.

Karan was a member of the Degraff Free Will Baptist Church for many years. Before her husband Roberts passing in 2014; Karan loved spending her time being right by his side, even if it meant she had to go fishing. Karan in her earlier years had a passion for drawing. She enjoyed knitting, watching old western movies and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Karan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed.

Karan is survived by her son, James M. Wampler; grandchildren, Michael, Kathleen, Rebecca and Alex-Zander; sister, Debbie Swadener.

Karan is preceeded in death by her husband, Robert S. Wampler and her parents.

Services will be held Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. up to the time of the service. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery following the service.
