June Arlene Bishop, (85), of Bellefontaine, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Logan Acres Senior Community. June's lifelong passion was caring for the children of Western Middle School, where she worked as Head Cook. During her career at Western Middle School she was known for her great cooking, her popular monthly book club meetings, and was responsible for coordinating the annual Christmas bicycle giveaway. One of June's greatest joy's and proudest accomplishments was being a nanny to the Braig family. She was involved in many civic activities within the community, Lion's Club being one of her favorites. She is survived by her sons, Thomas O'Hanlon and Robert O'Hanlon, and her daughter Sue Ellen Peck O'Hanlon; nieces Cindy Kirkpatrick and Rose Bishop; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends Wednesday  January 15, 2020 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM  at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home, 5591 US Rt 68 S. West Liberty 43357.  In Lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the Bellefontaine Lions Club.
