Joseph Michael
Grieshop
Apr 4, 1966 — Aug 16, 2026
Upper Sandusky
Joseph "Joe" Grieshop, husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2026.
Joe lived a life defined by hard work, dedication to his country, and a fierce love for his family. He served honorably as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force Reserve. Following his military service, Joe spent over 30 years on the road as a commercial truck driver and was a proud member of the Teamsters Union.
Outside of work, Joe was an avid sports fan. He loved watching soccer, cheering on the Cleveland Browns, and following the excitement of NASCAR.
While Joe was dedicated to his career and his hobbies, his greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his wife of many years, LoriGrieshop. He was the father of Kayla Grieshop, Sky Grieshop and his wife Ashley, and Sara Clark and her husband Dalton. Joe’s favorite role in life was being a grandfather. His grandchildren—Jaxon, Quinn, Katie, Penley, Audrey, and Annie—affectionately called him "Ampa," a title earned because they successfully "took the grrrrr out of him." He also leaves behind his brothers, Dave (Teresa) and Jim (Missy) Grieshop. Parents Bernard and Joyce predeceased him.
The family has chosen to have a private celebration of his life after the cremation. If you would like to honor Joe it would give him great pleasure to have you vote blue in the upcoming elections as he was very passionate about politics.
