Joe Barney, 77 of Rushsylvania passed away peacefully October 14, 2023 at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center.  He was born June 27, 1946 in Germantown, Ohio to the late Joseph and Margaret Barney. Joe was a graduate of Buckeye local schools in Rushsylvania. Joe retired from Rockwell in Kenton, Ohio and served in the US Army during the Korean War.  Joe love to camp and fish in Michigan with his family and friends, and will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Survivors include his siblings, Mike Barney & special friend (Elaine), John (Kim) Barney; several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brothers, Bruce, Randy Dale and David. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Jennings Farley and Seeley funeral home and crematory.
