Obituary

John J. Tuttle, 83, of Bellefontaine, Ohio was called to his eternal home on Friday, September 6th, 2024. John was born on April 22, 1941, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to John Harlan and Marguerite Jameson Tuttle. John was born at midnight on Marble Street the night the Ottumwa Theater burned down.

He is survived by his wife Regina;  his daughter Shawna W Hare (Tim) Pella, Iowa;  stepdaughter, Roxy Jason (Jeff) West Liberty, Ohio; son Jay P. Tuttle (Lisa) Travelers Rest, South Carolina; stepson Rudy Mulder (Michelle) Northbrook, Illinois. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

John worked for John Deere, Ottumwa, Iowa. He was a forklift and incinerator operator for 30 years; he retired in 1993. He also was a member of UAW Local 74.

John was a member of Grace Chapel in West Liberty where the Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday September 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM.

The family wants to thank the angels (staff, nurses, and doctors) of Universal Home Health and Hospice Care for the wonderful care of John and our family during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in John's memory to Universal Home Health and Hospice Care at 921 Rush Avenue  Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311
