John Frederick Maier 60, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday February 18, 2019 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born July 19, 1958 in Bellefontaine the son of Frank & Georgia (Harman) Maier. He was a 1976 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and as a youth a member of DeMolay. Survivors include his sister's Beth Dickson, Mary (Jim) Post; his brother Thomas Maier; sister-in-law Karen Maier; nieces and nephews include Abby, Matthew and Mackenzy Post, Andy and Dave Dickson, Jeff, Kevin and Chris Maier. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother F. Mark Maier; and brother-in-law James Dickson. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Friday February 22, at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory 5591 US Rt 68 S. West Liberty, Ohio 43357. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
