John T. Lawrence 82, of Bellefontaine passed away Tuesday July 23, 2024 at Dublin Methodist Hospital in Dublin, Ohio. He was born July 11, 1942 in Bellefontaine the son of Wayne & Pearl (Gooding) Lawrence.  Early in his career, John was a teacher before following his father's footsteps to become an attorney. Lawrence & Lawrence practiced in Bellefontaine for many years. He dedicated 56 years of service to the community. Through his life journey, he established many friendships. John loved to travel and tell of his adventures. He also loved to watch sports and was much looking forward to the upcoming Ohio State football season. When John wasn't spending time with his family and friends, he loved to read, take walks, and enjoy a good meal out to eat. He will be greatly missed. A private graveside service will be held in Oak Dale Cemetery Delaware, Ohio.
