John Warner Clifton, 74 of North Fort Myers, FL formerly of Logan County left his earthly home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

John was born in Springfield, OH, the son of the late James Warner Clifton and Edna Mae Hunt.

John served his country in the Marine Corps for four years; he was a Disabled Purple Heart Veteran. John had Parkinson's Disease and fought a long and challenging battle.

John is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Celeste Clifton; son Jeffrey Warner Clifton; two daughters, Tracy Sipe and Amy Rogan; stepson, Sean Short; mother-in-law, Martha Miller; brother, Stephen Clifton; 3 sisters, Jerri Foreman, Debbie Wagy, Terri Jo Miller and Pam Soda; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; many in-laws and nieces and nephews.

John is preceded in death by his father, James Warner Clifton; stepmother, Joann Clifton; mother, Edna Mae Hunt; sisters, Bev Lloyd and Vickie Neeld; father-in-law, Arliss Miller; stepson, Shane Short; 3 nephews, Scott Kuhn, Tim Kuhn and Bryant Miller; 4 brothers-in-law, Sam Miller, Dick Postell, William Hurtt and James Hurtt; sister-in-law, Shirley Hurtt.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the East Liberty Church of Christ, officiated by Dr. Jason Robson. Burial will take place in East Liberty Cemetery after the service.
