Jeffrey Alan Thompson, 68 of Rushsylvania, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at his residence with his wife by his side.

Jeffrey was born November 10, 1949 in Bellefontaine to William and Doris (Boyce) Thompson. On January 3, 2006 he married Kari Thompson in Bellefontaine.

Jeff worked at Hess lumber where he dedicated over 39 years of his life. He loved to golf and enjoyed going fishing in his earlier years. Jeff was a loving husband, father, step-father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Kari Thompson; son, Bill Thompson; step-daughter, Jessie Carmen; grandchildren Nolan Shaw and Omri Lei Thompson; sister, Diane (Larry) Mock.

He is preceeded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Harper Community Church, 3146 County Road 25 N. Bellefontaine, OH, 43311.
