James A. Wilson, 71 of Bellefontaine passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at his residence.

James was born February 6, 1947 in Piqua, OH to the late Alfred Hamilton and Dora Fern (Miller) Wilson. On August 3, 1974 he married the love of his life Karen Lea Kazee in Middletown, OH.

James was a beloved member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. He retired from the Urbana City Schools after 35 years of dedicated service to his students. After retiring James still kept farming and he enjoyed buying and selling antique tools and other various items. He also enjoyed buying and rebuilding tractors with his good friends Terry Riley and Patrick Willis. James was a loving and generous man, devoted to God, his church and his family. He will be missed by all that knew him.

James is survived by his wife, Karen Wilson; God daughter, Jennifer Buchenroth; grandson James Gohl.

James is preceeded in death by his parents and a brother John.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. up to the time of services. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery following the funeral service.
