James Allen "Jim" Francis Sr., 76 of Lewistown passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at Lima Memorial Hospital.

Jim was born October 21, 1945 in Roan County, TN to the late E.L. and Golda (Ratliff) Francis. On October 29, 1994 in Lakeview he married Connie S. Brown, who survives.

Jim really enjoyed camping and fishing at Kiser Lake and Indian Lake. In his earlier years he really enjoyed reading. He also enjoyed cross word puzzles when reading became a discomfort. He loved spending time with his family and he was seen as a social butterfly who never knew a stranger. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all who had the opportunity to get to know him.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Connie S. Francis; children, Faith Stamper, Katrina Richardson, Cynthia Francis, James (Minta) Francis Jr., Wanda (Perry) Lane, Vince Brown, Eddie Kemp, JoAnna Castle and Dakota Brown; 24 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, with a little girl on the way; siblings, Pat (Charlene) Francis, Don (Crystal) Francis, Marti Hemmer, Linda (Rick) Kirkpatrick, Susan (Fred) Vagedes and Sally (Jim) Page; many nieces and nephews.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Michael Halbert; siblings, Luther Francis, Edgle Francis and Mary Gullett.

A Private family service will take place at a later date.
