James Richard Conner, 70, of Mountain Top Campgrounds, passed from his life peacefully Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in his home after months of failing health. Jim, a lifelong truck driver, traveled the whole country, even to Alaska, made many friends and had a lot of stories to tell. He also liked working on the farm, helping anyone in need and never met a stranger.  He was preceded in death by his parents James and Ida Marie, a brother Eugene Keffer, a sister Betty (John) McClure, and is survived by sisters Shirley (Doc) Nicholas, Dorthy (Westly) Mitchell, and Alice Martin. Many nephews and nieces he loved very much.  A celebration of life ceremony will be held at Mountain Top Campgrounds at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home and Crematory West Liberty, Ohio.
