IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Isa Mae
Jenkins
February 4, 1945 – December 16, 2022
Isa Mae (Click) Jenkins, 77, of Belle Center (formerly of St. Paris) peacefully passed surrounded by family on Friday, December 16, 2022.
Isa was born February 4, 1945, in Clark County, Ohio to the late Virginia (Fraley) and Marvin Click. Much of her childhood weekends were spent with her extended family in the mountains outside of Maysville, Kentucky. She had lots of stories to tell about growing up in the mountains. She would also tell you how much she hated working in the tobacco fields. Isa graduated from Northwestern Schools in North Hampton, Ohio. She would proudly tell any Graham fan that those Warriors would shoot down those Falcons.
On October 16, 1964, she married Robert A. Jenkins in Springfield, Ohio. They were fortunate enough to be blessed with one son. Isa was known for years as the Cleaning Lady, spending her days cleaning multiple houses for families in the St. Paris area. She enjoyed sewing, cooking large meals, and spending time with her family.
Isa was preceded in death by her parents; Aunts Flossie (Virgil) Fraley, Shirley (Ransom) Reynolds; sister Inez Burchnell; brothers-in-law William (Miriam) Jenkins, Richard Jenkins, James Jenkins, Sylvan Pence; cousins Lovena Fraley, Levis (Mary, Regina) Fraley, Burl Fraley, Morris Sparks, Mike Brisley, Chris McHugh, and Carton Reynolds.
She is survived by her loving husband; son Troy (Danielle) Jenkins, grandchildren Aaron, Chelsea, Alicia, and Clayton Jenkins; sisters-in-law Martha Pence, Delores Jenkins, Carolyn Jenkins, Marie (Arthur) Bovey; cousins Pat Fraley, Elveda (Tom) Innis, Jean Sparks, Patty Brisley, Maggie (John) Sledd, D.C. (Marion) Fraley, Gerald (Terri) Fraley, Debbie Fraley, Betty Fraley, Rita McHugh, Donna Reynolds; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial to take place at Belle Center Fairview Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank the wonderful people of Belle Springs and Affinity Hospice for all of the love and care they gave to Isa and her family during her final days. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Affinity Care at 7681 Tylers Place Boulevard, Suite 3, West Chester, OH 45069; or Ayden Healthcare of Belle Springs at 221 School St, Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
