Ida Mae (Metz) Huffman, 89 of Bellefontaine passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Mary Rutan Hospital.

Ida was born August 26, 1933 in Mingo, OH to the Late Milroy and Debra E. (Poland) Metz. On January 6, 1955 in Mingo, OH she married the love of her life Richard Earl Huffman, who survives.

Ida was a homemaker and sold AVON for 25 years. Selling AVON was something she really enjoyed doing. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years at the First Church of God in Bellefontaine. Ida was a wonderful wife for 67 years to her husband and was a caring mother to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Richard E. Huffman; children, Kristi (Bill) Harrington of West Liberty and Mark (Jane) Huffman of Bellefontaine; 4 grandchildren, Monica (Dan) Wilcoxon, Travis (Shanna) Harrington, Joshua Huffman and Jeth (Misty) Huffman; 12 great grandchildren, Riley Wilcoxon , Maggie (Silas) Augsburger, Miles Wilcoxon, Alanee Yeager, Devin Huffman, Valerie Huffman, Montgomery Harrington, Temperance Harrington, Carter Huffman, Emersyn Huffman and Ellowyn Huffman; one great great grandchild, Scarlett Huffman; brother, Wesley Metz; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Charles and Frank Metz, Nellie Metz and Mary Rowe.

A Funeral Service will take place Friday, September 9, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will take place Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery following the service.
