Glendora Ruth Allen, 92 of Bellefontaine passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Glendora was born July 15, 1929 on the family farm near West Mansfield, OH; the daughter of the late James and Isabel (Sutherland) Bell. On August 12, 1950 in Bellefontaine she married the love of her life Ray P. Allen, who preceded her in death.

Glendora retired from Siemens in 1988 after 35 years of dedicated service. She was member of the First Christian Church of Bellefontaine and the Logan County Senior Center. Glendora was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to get to know her.

She is survived by her son, James Allen of Bellefontaine; daughter, Barb (Larry) Dotson of Lakeview; special family friend, Drema Scott; sister-in-law, Pansy Allen of Hopkinsville, KY; six grandchildren, Jaimi Price, Candice (David) Kirkpatrick, Heather Shisler and Ashley Dotson, Ben Dotson and Mark Dotson; great grandchildren, Austin Allen Sierra Allen, Dakota Ballard, Summer Price, Hunter McColloch, Coalton Speakman, Callahan Shisler, Makinnly Allen, Caden Allen, Austin Dotson, Jax Dotson, Madalyn Dotson and Olivia Dotson.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Ray P. Allen; her parents; grandson, Jonathan Ray Allen; sisters, Phyllis Hurley and Lura Hansen.

A Funeral Service will take place Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory officiated by David Klopfenstein. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial of ashes will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
