Frank Justis Kidd 77 of Bellefontaine passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH.

Frank was born October 24, 1941 in Littleton, NC to the late Walter and Lula (Salmon) Kidd. On March 17, 1974 in Farmville, VA he married Ellen Edwards.

Frank was an active member of Quest Community Church in West Liberty. He served for over 5 years in the Army National Guard. Frank graduated in 1960 from Littleton High School in Littleton, North Carolina. He retired from a lifelong career in sales management then became a Security Guard for Genric Security Services for 15 years. He was an avid football fan and loved spending time with his family and dog Sophie. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Edwards Kidd; children, Shelley (Tom) Kirkpatrick and Phillip (Audrey) Kidd; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Anthony, Elijah, Gabriel, Kaelyn Kahlil and Brooklyn Phenes; sister Agnes (Bill) Loyall; sister-in-law, Margaret Kidd.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Allen Kidd.

A time of gathering for family and friends will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory. A Private Family Committal Service will take place at a later date.
