Eugene M. Herford Sr. 77 of Quincy passed away Friday September 8, 2024, at Ayden Healthcare of Belle Springs in Bellefontaine. He was born September 22, 1946, the son Raymond M and Irene (Skaggs) Herford.  Eugene retired from the automotive industry as a mechanic. Survivors include his wife Josephine (McKinney) Herford; children Eugene Jr. "Jay" (Annie) Herford, Laurie (Rick) Brown, Rhonda Herford, Melissa Herford (Andy McComas); brother Cecil Herford; sister Donna Dahlke. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends. A Celebration of Life will take place at Kiser Lake at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home and Crematory.
