Douglas Lee Pitcock, 70 of Russells Point, passed away January 17, 2018 at the Kobacker House in Columbus.

Doug was born May 10, 1947 in Bellefontaine, OH to the late Harold Lee and Iva Lou (Downing) Pitcock. On October 17, 1970 he married Nancy A. Hickok in Bellefontaine.

Doug proudly served his county in the United States Army. After 38 years of hard work and dedication he happily retired from manufacturing.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy A. Pitcock; daughter, Dawn; siblings, Sue (Floyd) Stotler, Pam (Kerry) Harvey, Glen (Brenda) Pitcock, Tony Pitcock and Barry (Alicia) Mullins many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceeded in death by his parents; brothers, Bruce Pitcock and Jerry Mullins; grandparents, James and Eunice Downing; special aunt, Wilma Brewer; family friend Corky.

A private family Gazebo Service will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
