Donnovan L.  Klinger 80, of Belle Center, OH, passed away on Friday May 4, 2018 at his home. He was born December 7, 1937 in Lima, Ohio; the son of Robert and Lois (Luke) Klinger. He was a 1955 graduate of Belle Center High School and was a Veteran of the United States Army, stationed in Korea from 1955 to 1958. He retired from Rockwell after 30 years of service and served as Union President before his retirement. He enjoyed spending his winters in Florida for the past 23 years.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Lois Ann (Richardson) Klinger; children, Lori (Tony) Elliott, Eric (Cheryl) Klinger, Bill (Jill) Klinger; daughter-in-law Polly Klinger; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 2 on the way. He is also survived by his siblings Gary (Sandy) Klinger, Jerry Klinger, Wayne (Carol) Klinger and Ronnie Klinger( several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Ben (Jean) Richardson. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Klinger; his parents, and siblings Raymond & Dennis Klinger and Peg Franz.
A memorial service will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, May 10th, 2018 at the First United Presbyterian Church in Belle Center. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service.
