Donald Trent Sr., 73, of Bellefontaine, passed away peacefully at 4:57 am on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at this home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Waverly on August 19, 1944 to the late Charles Edward Trent and Gladys Mildred Reisinger Trent. Donald was blessed to be married to Linda K Keels for 46 years. He is also survived by a daughter, Teresa (Craig) Clark, a son, Donald Trent II, and four grandchildren, Shemar, Donald III, Cameo and Vincent. His surviving siblings include five sisters; Viola Howard of Columbus, Lucy (Bill) Moss of Urbana, Diane Hill of Urbana, Nancy Smith of Springfield, and Sue Porter of Urbana, and three brothers; Richard (Dawn) Trent of Urbana, Danny (Ann) Trent of Hilliard, and Doug Trent of Urbana, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenny, Jerry, Charles and Dallas Trent, and two sisters, Ethel and Mazel Trent. Donald had a few close friends that he enjoyed spending time with, Eddie (Gwen) Johnson, Van Johnson, Calvin Davis, Jerry Lyburtus and Bruce Wilson. Donald served in the Armed Services. He worked several years at Westinghouse and Tri County Weatherization. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He also liked bowling, fishing, and being outside with his friends. Anyone who knew Don, knew he loved to play his lottery tickets. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory, 5591 S US Route 68, West Liberty, Ohio.
