Donald E. "Donnie" Miranda, 50 of Bellefontaine passed away on June 26, 2022 at his residence.
Donnie was born September 5, 1971 in Bellefontaine to the late George Logan and Priscilla (Millington) Miranda.
A 1991 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, Donnie started life as a general laborer until finding his passion in artistry of tattooing and body piercing professionally in 1998. He opened his first tattoo shop, Sacred Totem, in 2005. In 2006 Donnie relocated to Lima and opened Revolution Tattoos with his business partner and tattoo artist M. David Pieper. He returned to his hometown of Bellefontaine in 2008 and opened his last tattoo shop Touch of Grace.
Donnie loved fishing, hunting, hiking and mushroom hunting. He was an avid fan of concerts, music, outdoor life and bonfires with friends. He was an outspoken believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and had a strong patriotic love for his nation.
He is survived by his brother David E. Miranda and cousin "best friend" Dana D. (Latimer) Bright.
Donnie is preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents Matthew Mark Millington, Betty June Millington, Paternal grandparents Ellwood Ellsworth Miranda, Marjorie Francis Miranda and beloved uncle Matthew Mark "Skip" Millington.
The family will hold a private graveside service in Fairview Cemetery – Belle Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for close friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family to assist in covering final expenses.
The family is in the care of Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory.
