Obituary

Donald Eugene Alig, born on April 19 th , 1955, passed away peacefully the morning of January 27 th , 2022.

Don was the model of a man, strong and tall, and yet he had the softest heart. He never had a frown on his face. He was quick with a story or a one liner. He loved to make people laugh.

Don was a manager of TSC at the age of twenty. And from there, he went to Super Foods where he spent 30 years in the warehouse.  He became a Union Steward to ensure workers were treated fairly.

Don won so many battles throughout his life. Even in the midst of his own battles, he was always concerned for others. If he knew of a need, he was quick to help.

Don was so many things to so many people. He was a blessed son, a fun loving brother. An amazing husband and a father that adored his daughter. A hard working provider. He was a singer and bible teacher. Don was a Home Inspector and business owner of AHI Alig Home Inspections who always gave 110%. This was one of his pride and joy accomplishments of his life A friend and many other things to name but above all else, he was a believer and loved his Lord Jesus Christ.

His love and devotion to his family was second to none. His greatest joy came from making every wish come true for his beloved wife Becky. His pride for his daughter Missy would light up his countenance.

He is survived by his wife the light of his life Becky (Heminger) Alig; his mother Donna Alig; his daughter and apple of his eye Melissa (Lincoln) Weaver, his sister-in-law and "adopted daughter" Robin (Jan) Heminger, Brother-in-law Steve (Judy) Heminger, siblings Bill Alig (Mary May), Jim (Sue) Alig, Jan (Ed) Golliday Dave (Patty) Alig, and many nieces and nephews.  A celebration of life service will be held in the early summer of 2022.  He was preceded in death by his father William E.
