Delbert Carl Westfall 88, of Bellefontaine, OH, formerly of Russell PA, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, in Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine.

Delbert was born July 16, 1935, growing up in Irvine, PA. He was the son of the late Wiltsie and Inez Westfall. He married Carol Osborne on February 23, 1957, then moved to Russell. She preceded him in death on December 4, 2016. In March of 2016 he moved to Bellefontaine to be near his family.  He was also preceded in death by brothers, Chester, Calvin and an infant, also two sisters, Elnora Fedorchuk and Geressa Mills. He is survived by a daughter, Diana (Mark) Collins of East Liberty, grandchildren, Ryan (Laura) Collins of Piqua and Nikki (Hank) Carpenter of East Liberty. Also several nieces and nephews.

Delbert was a machinist at Rexnord Corporation in Warren PA for 42 years. As a member of the Russell PA United Methodist Church he served as trustee and usher. There he was also involved in The Hands of the Carpenter Ministry; where they helped those needing assistance with house repairs.  Delbert also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, helping others in any way he could.

A Funeral Services will be held Friday December 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory, officiated by Pastor Jeff Willetts of Calvary Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday December 21, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA at a later date.
