David Gammell 73, of Bellefontaine, passed away Tuesday July 6, 2021 in his residence.  He was born July 7, 1947 in Bellefontaine to the late Robert and Vera (Downing) Gammell. David retired from Wells Aluminum Products in Sidney after several years of service. He enjoyed playing softball and coached Little League Baseball. Survivors include his wife Wilma (Durflinger) Gammell; daughter Cynthia (Gammell) Bailey; son Ivan Chris Gammell; brother Mike (Margaret) Gammell; grandson Robert (Katie) Bailey; granddaughters Kassie (Noah) Staley, Brittany (Bob) Wilson; great grandchildren Haylie Jordan, Kaycie & Carlie Wilson, Roman Staley, Ava Bailey, and Oliva Bailey; special nephews Adam (Mandie) Gammell, and Rob Gammell. He was preceded in death by his parents, son David Wayne Gammell Jr, brothers Bobby, Harold, James and Kevin; sisters Sandra, Joyce, Marsha, Mary and Linda. Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
