Darrell Roy Collins, 82, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 in his home. He was born January 27, 1935 in Lakeview, Ohio, the son of James Liggett and Della Pearl (Sine) Collins. Mr. Collins was retired from farming and Ohio Ready Mix. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Bellefontaine Masonic Lodge #209, Antioch Shriners, and Valley of Dayton Scottish Rite. He also served as a trustee for Harrison Township for 20 years. Survivors include his wife of 61 years Carolyn (Forsythe); daughter Becky (Steve) Sheehan, son Doug (Teresa) Collins; daughter-in-law Holly Collins; grandchildren Dustin Collins, Darin Collins, Duane Collins, Heather Campbell, Sean Sheehan, Alison Florkey, Kathy Hudson, Ashley Collins, Zachary Collins; 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son David Collins and daughter Katharine Collins; granddaughter Christian Collins and one great grandson Drew Collins; three brothers Marvin, Herbert, and James Collins. Masonic Rite services will be held 7:00 pm Friday, December 1st at Jennings Farley Funeral Home, 5591 US Rt 68 S., West Liberty. Visitation will be held Friday from 3pm until time of service. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to Universal Home Health & Hospice, 701 S.
