Clara McBrien Boggs, 87, of Bellefontaine passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord, Friday, December 26, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Clara was born on December 9, 1938, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Anna McBrien.
On June 9, 1957, Clara married the love of her life, Jack Boggs, who preceded her in death March 30, 2003. They enjoyed almost 46 years together building a beautiful legacy.
Clara was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Kimberly Boggs, her grandson Dylan Boggs, sister Charleen Haupt, brother Jim McBrien, and sisters-in-law Penny Freeman, Joyce Grimes and Billie Groves.
Clara is survived by her children Debbie (Scott) Whitsett of Tipp City, Dr. Jeffrey (Karen) Boggs of Glasgow, Kentucky, Tamara (Robert) Macaluso of Delaware, Ohio, and Jana (Eric) Tanner of Bellefontaine; Grandchildren Jamie Maurer, Krista (Eric) Meyer, Chauncey (Clay) LeGrand, Josh (Ciara) Boggs, Nichole (Nick) Ingmire, Andrea Macaluso, Jessica (Jarrett)Augustino, Ben (Juliette) Tanner and Amariah Tanner; Great-grandchildren Victoria (Nick), Matteo, Giulia, Jack, Emily, Sophia, Matthew, Isaac, Gus, June, Dylan, Blaine, Elyse, Leah, Kelsey, Nehemiah and Ayawyn. She is also survived by sisters Ann Easton and Tina Geboy, sisters-in-law Jacquelyn McBrien, Dollie Beth and Lou Ann Major, along with many special nieces, nephews and friends.
Clara worked at Copeland Corporation for over 30 years and attended Grace Chapel Church in Bellefontaine. She was a very talented artist who loved painting. She adored her family and spending time with. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life open house for Clara will be held Friday January 9, 2026 from 2-4 PM at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home and Crematory 5591 US Highway 68 S. West Liberty, Ohio 43357
