Christina J. Orahood, 67 of Bellefontaine passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the Dublin Methodist Hospital.

Christina was born October 28, 1955 in Bellefontaine to the late Jesse James and Martha Mae (Frederick) Daniels. On June 17, 1972 in Bellefontaine she married the love of her life Edwin E. "Ed" Orahood Jr. who survives.

Christina was an avid Buckeyes fan. She had a green thumb in tending to her garden, tomato plants and flowers. She truly loved watching the humming birds that would visit her bird feeder. Christina was a loving and caring person who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, golf cart rides, camping and playing her lottery tickets. She also really enjoyed Christmas and the holiday season; filling the stockings at Christmas as full as possible was a great joy in her life. Christina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to get to know her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years. Edwin E. "Ed" Orahood Jr.; children, Edwin E. "Ikey" Orahood III and Jessica (Shawn) Akers; grandchildren, Bayley Orahood, Tristen Orahood, Doby Orahood, Ethan Akers and Ashlyn Akers; siblings, Daniel Lee Daniels, Victoria (Rick) Berger, Joe (Mary Jo) Daniels, Jaymes "Jim" Daniels, Alisa (Jeffrey) Geboy; many nieces and nephews; best friend and sister-in-law, Tonya Pohlman.

She is preceded in death by her parents; niece, Lindsay Geboy.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Dublin Methodist Hospital for all of their outstanding care.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory, 5591 US Highway 68 S. West Liberty, OH 43357. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place in Huntsville Cemetery following the service. The family requests that dress for Christina's services be casual and if you can wear your Ohio State gear and colors that would be greatly appreciated.

Memorial Contributions may be made to a Hospice Care Facility/Unit of the donor's choice.
