Charles A. "Junior" Schwartz Jr. 81 of DeGraff, OH lost his long battle with lung and Parkinson's disease December 3, 2019 in loving care of his special sister-in-law Jenny and brother-in-law Rick Burnside.
Born March 9, 1938 in Vandalia, OH. He was the son of the late Charles Sr. and Frieda (Klenk) Schwartz. He married Linda M. Grant in Jackson Center, OH who passed before him in May of 1999.
He was member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jackson Center. He enjoyed going to antique tractor pulls and festivals with his favorite 1939 Allis Chalmers and bringing home his trophies. He will be deeply missed by not only his family and close friends, but by all who knew him.
Charles is survived by his sister-in-law, Joyce (Wayne Chessir) Grant, Marilyn Grant Mitchell; a very special dearly loved grandson, Zachary R. J. (Lindsey) Grant; grandchildren, Danielle Mitchell, Margo Burnside, Kylie Rogers, Gary Burnside and Tanner Anderson; great grandchildren, Zander, Kendall, Kason, Kohen, Bryleigh, Zaley, Meilah Burnside and Lillian Anderson.
Charles is preceded in death by his loving wife Linda M. Schwartz; daughter, Paulette Marie Schwartz; son, Keith Allen Schwartz; father-in-law Paul H. Grant; mother-in-law, Charlotte M. (Alspaugh) Grant; a sister and 4 brothers; a nephew and great nephew; 3 brother-in-law's, Marvin Pulfer, Donald E. Brown and Daniel L. Mitchell; close friend Stanley Current.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Stoltzfus and Universal Home Health and Hospice, close family friends Alan and Tonya Pope, for the love and care that was given to Charles and the family.
A Funeral Service will take place Monday, December 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory, 5591 US Route 68 South, West Liberty, OH 43357. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
