IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles "Chuck"
Beatty
January 23, 1928 – December 15, 2021
Charles Lewis "Chuck" Beatty, 93, of DeGraff, met his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday December 15, 2021. Chuck was born January 23, 1928 to his parents William Howard & Minnie Mae (Skeen) Beatty. On December 7, 1952 he married the love of his life, Margaret Cory and she survives.
Chuck was passionate about many things in his occupation as a lifelong farmer in Logan County. Upon retirement he worked as a security guard at the Marysville Auto Plant, a tour guide at the Piatt and Mac-A-Cheek Castles and volunteered a lot of his time to the Logan County Historical Society. He was a member of the Gretna Brethren Church and served his Lord well in VBS, church camp, Christmas pageants and meals at Our Daily Bread. He was honored to serve his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Always reading and studying to expand his knowledge but nothing brought him greater joy than to be with his family and attend his grandchildren's activities.
Survivors include his loving wife, Margaret; children Charles A. (Shela) Beatty, Philip H. Beatty, Thomas D. (Nancy Jo) Beatty, Mary Ann (Mark) Albright; grandchildren Amber (Kevin) Berger, Katie Beatty, Tori (Andrew) Buford, Tony (Crystal) Beatty, Stanley Beatty, Ashley Albright, Dylan (fiancé Kate) Albright; great grandchildren Jackson Berger, Emily Berger and Harriet Buford; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
