Carole J. Spring, 81, of Lewistown passed away
Wednesday, January 8, 2020
at St. Ann's hospital. Carole was born
December 6, 1938
in Dayton, Ohio to the late Landon Binkley and Alice G Binkley. Carole later married the love of her life, Leonard Spring, who preceded her in death in 2005.
Along with her family, Carole moved to Indian Lake in 1954. She graduated from Lakeview High School in 1957. She was a successful, long time Realtor in the Indian Lake area. Most of her hobbies involved going to estate sales with Leonard, her love of pigs and her artistic talents. She worked in stained glass, painting, macramé, pottery and was an excellent seamstress. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Most recently she enjoyed singing in the choir at the Logan County Friendly Senior Center and playing cards with her friends there.
Carole is survived by her siblings, Bill (Susan) Tinsley of Bellefontaine and Kitty (Dan) Mayer of Santa Rosa, CA; nieces and nephews, Rod (Dee) Tinsley, Chris Tinsley, Laurie Tinsley, Rhonda (Tom) Fister, Brandon Uhrich and Lindsay (Mariano) Ferraris and loving friends Jerry, Susan Snipes, and almost grand daughters McKenzie Garver, and Mahalie Wood.Carole was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Spring; children, Harold William Miller, Delbert James Miller, Jr and Barbara Alison Jean Spring-Littlefield; her parents, William F. Tinsley, Sr and Alice G. Tinsley; brothers, Jack G. Tinsley and Charles D. Tinsley and sister, Joanne Withrow.
A private burial will take place at a later date at the Huntsville Cemetery. The family is in the care of Jennings, Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory.
